Formed in 2012, THE BRITS came together to commemorate The Beatles’ iconic appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show in 1964. Their musical journey revolves around the British Invasion of the 1960s, led by The Beatles, but they also celebrate other influential groups from that era. These include The Rolling Stones, The Who, Herman’s Hermits, The Dave Clark Five, The Zombies, The Kinks, and many more. Over time, they expanded their repertoire to include British bands from the 70s and 80s.
The original members of The Brits include: Joe Buda (founder) on guitar, Dan Gillpatrick on drums, Terry Brennan on guitar, and Rich Berg on bass. Terry temporarily stepped away due to family business commitments, during which Bob Ford joined the group on guitar and keyboard. Rich Berg and his wife retired and relocated to Arkansas, leading to Lou Rose joining the group on bass. Eventually, Terry returned to the fold, and all five members contribute their excellent singing voices to create the group’s harmonious sound.
